Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Legitski ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Legitski is a cloud-based inventory management platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses. The Service includes:

Inventory tracking with custom fields and categories
Point-of-sale and cashier functionality
Supplier management and purchase order processing
Customer relationship management
Sales, receiving, returns, and inventory adjustment operations
Reporting and analytics
Team collaboration with role-based access (Owner, Boss, Employee)
Barcode scanning and thermal receipt printing
Real-time synchronization across devices
Offline mode via Progressive Web App (PWA) technology

Feature availability varies by subscription plan. Not all features listed above are available on all plans.

Account Registration

To use Legitski, you must create an account by providing a valid email address, your name, and a password, or by authenticating through Google OAuth. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete registration information
Maintaining the security of your account credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

You may create or join multiple businesses within a single account. Each business operates as an independent workspace with its own inventory, team members, and settings.

Subscription Plans and Billing

Legitski offers the following subscription plans:

Free — No cost, with limited feature access and usage caps
Pro — $19 per month or $190 per year, with expanded features and higher limits
Business — $49 per month or $490 per year, with unlimited access to all features

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Annual plans are billed as a single payment for the full year.

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Free Trial and Referral Program

New paid subscriptions may include a free trial period. During the trial, you have full access to the features of the selected plan. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged automatically.

Legitski offers a referral program that rewards both the referring user and the referred user with bonus subscription days. Referral rewards are subject to the following conditions:

Bonus days are applied to your subscription and extend your current billing period
Referral codes must be used by new accounts during registration
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time
Abuse of the referral program, including creating multiple accounts to generate referrals, will result in forfeiture of rewards and possible account termination

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Legitski only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

Use the Service for any illegal activity or to store records of illegal transactions
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our written permission
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
Upload content that is malicious, defamatory, or violates the rights of others
Circumvent any usage limits or restrictions associated with your subscription plan

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Legitski and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

The Legitski name, logo, and all related trademarks are the property of Legitski. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Legitski, including inventory records, customer information, supplier details, and transaction data ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. We do not monitor or review User Content, but we reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

You may export your data at any time using the export features available in the Service. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. If we make changes that materially reduce the functionality of your current plan, we will provide reasonable advance notice. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Legitski and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

You breach any provision of these Terms
Your use of the Service poses a security risk or may cause harm to other users
Your account has been inactive for an extended period
We are required to do so by law

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination to allow you to request an export, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
